Bob Marley: One Love 2024
What a heartfelt story on some of the most transformational years of Bob Marley’s life, beautifully told through his everlasting love with his wife, Rita.
They apparently searched far and wide to find the right person to play Bob, and they nailed it with Kingsley Ben-Adir. Lasagna Lynch was just as perfect as Rita. There’s a scene between the two after his cancer diagnosis that’s so touching; you’ll know exactly when I’m talking about.

Huh?! A musical?! Hell yeah it was. What a perfect way of bringing Broadway to the big screen while paying homage to what Lindsay Lohan and them did in the OG.
The cast couldn’t have been a better fit. Renee Rapp. Angrier Rice. Jaquel Spivey. Tim Meadows. The whole damn gang.

This was a pretty bold, nifty origin story on Gene Wilder’s OG Willy Wonka. The story. The visuals. Certainly the soundtrack. It was all damn good.
I was never sure what to expect out of Timothée Chalamet. After watching, I’m not sure they could’ve cast a better fit — except for a couple of moments (and notes, in particular).

An entire senior year of AP Gov told me Napoleon was a pretty odd dude. Who better to portray that than Joaquin Phoenix?
The fight scenes were absolutely sick — regardless of whatever was or wasn’t historically accurate.
Vanessa Kirby was a gem, per usual. Gotta knock this trip for not getting my ticket stub (sigh). But seeing it in IMAX was a treat.
