  Look...it was beautiful. BUT...I blame my parents for having not introduced little Jonah to this masterpiece. Regretful. I am certain that 2001 would have been one of my favourites if I had formed an opinion when I was younger, in more forgiving, rose-tinted discernment.   Thank sin it's over. While I marveled at the cinematic wonders crafted by David Lynch in gems like Eraserhead and Blue Velvet, his take on Dune left me as perplexed as a sandworm trying to navigate a crowded marketplace. At least I thought about such perplexion during the film, so I begrudgingly award Dune a solitary star.
