The Godfather Part II 1974
Damn this one was so much longer and it felt like it. And in my opinion it didn’t say enough to justify the run time.
I’m not sure if it’s a pacing thing, or me not getting it but I was significantly less impressed with this one.
Al Pacino is once again the best part and there is enough great filmmaking to save this for me but I’d watch the first Godfather any day of the week.
3.5/5 maybe I’ll eat these words hard after a rewatch I’m open to being wrong
