Im witnessing the beginning of one of the greatest franchises of all time.

The first film set up the perfect world for part two, and it is everything part one is and much more. Amazing storytelling and some of the best characters is science fiction. I really can’t believe I was able to witness one of the greatest achievements in cinema.

Visually this is the best film I’ve ever seen. Denis Villeneuve you have high standards for part 3 but if it’s even better then I might implode in the theatre.

Filmmaking at it's finest. This is a historical achievement for cinema. With incredibly timed pacing, and the best screenplay Nolan has ever written, the runtime of 3 hours was no problem.

The performances were outstanding with Cillian Murphy leading the way as well as other standouts such as Emily Blunt, Robert Downey Jr., and small but amazing performance by Gary Oldman as President Truman. The score was absolutely incredible! It rivals other Nolan movies such as Inception and Interstellar.

    Jake Gyllenhaal is my sunshine.

They really needed to go all in on the found footage aspect or not do it at all.

    LA truly is different.

Successful low budget comedy’s are rare but I’m always happy to see it.

The coffee machine symbolism was a neat touch and all the characters were very likable. I just wanted more baby Joker.

Best Mark Ruffalo performance to date.

Of course everyone else was amazing too. There were no bad moments, fantastic story telling that keeps you invested.

It definitely checks all the boxes as far as social commentary, while saying a lot it doesn’t get too messy. But it doesn’t go too deep into anything.

I did feel like it was missing a certain element, it definitely stands out with an amazing concept but as far as structure it needs something before it can become an all time great.

    Robert Pattinson for an Oscar.

There was absolutely zero need for this to be that long. The pacing was terrible. It was one of those movies where you think it’s going to end but it keeps going, and it does that several times.

The concept of making a movie about faking the moon landing is so good, but then they made this. How do you make a movie about one of America’s greatest conspiracies bland?

The romance was forced and boring, the jokes didn’t hit and the characters were uninspired.
