The scene outside of the plane feels like somebody scratching me with forks.
“And you are a disgusting hooker.”—“And your son hates you so much, he married one to piss you off.”
Loved it so much I became a misogynist for the rest of the day
“This is your life and it's ending one minute at a time.”
It’s crazy how much they changed the actual story, it’s still a great movie though
I don’t find Eraserhead scary. I do find it interesting how little dialogue is in the film. It’s also interesting how fucking weird/gross everything is. Im incredibly disgusted. I’m not on edge (this not very scary) but I’m also not very comfortable. It’s very well made, and I never want to watch it again.
“In Heaven, everything is fine.“
A super captivating film that portrays the strength of its adapted story through many ways including silence and suspense. It’s interesting in the sense that the viewer has no one to truly root for, not even the characters are aware of who is good and who is bad. Like we know the lead character isn't a good person, yet we don’t really have anyone to contrast. We just know that everything is tainted by the need for power and the failure to hold one’s morals above that need. It’s a great film.
