  I cannot even begin to phantom what I actually just witnessed… 
  I feel Villeneuved. 
  Meaning the feeling of having one’s brain liquified and spilled all over your chair. 
  The soundtrack… the insane visuals and cinematography… the imax experience….

  A Real Pain 2024

  Heartfelt, striking and a sympathetic depiction of generational grief. I was a little surprised at the tone of the movie, considering that my cinema put it under comedies. But now I recognize it as a melancholic type of comedy, which was hilarious at times and in a way therapeutic. It made the heavy material and reality of it all slightly more digestible. 
  As a last note, coming from a family where my own grandparents were traumatized and scarred from the war, this movie hit home.
