  My family and I had been talking for days about watching this together. So I bought Wicked for 17 bucks on AppleTV, and we were literally just 3 minutes in when everyone was like "Hold on, are they ONLY gonna be singing in this?!" — We checked on Google and when it said it's almost a pure musical, we all agreed at the same time: "Yep, let's turn it off" 😂😂😂

  Ich empfinde diesen Film viel mehr als die Mühe Gendersprachverweigerern die Schuld zu senken, gar als einen Annäherungsversuch dieser, als die Intention, den als woke empfundenen die Schuld in die Schuhe zu schieben. Da der Film niemanden direkt beleidigt sondern lediglich Themen hinterfragt, teilweise kritisiert, finde ich das in Ordnung. Das bestätigte für mich auch die Nachbesprechung mit den Machern selbst nach der Vorpremiere. Sie verlief reflektiert, aber respektvoll.

  The shots are beautiful - they are so bright yet so calm, accompanied by the unbeaten music of Chopin. The Auschwitz part reminded me very much of The Zone of Interest. It’s almost silent but disturbing.

  I liked the way Poland was incorporated into the film. It was not cliché, they didn’t hammer in everything they could to show Poland as most people know it from memes. Good thing because most directors probably would have. You saw some cities and some…
