  acting was superb in this and was great hearing from Charlotte at the end during a q+a 

  She said she wanted to make a film about people from a working class background that was more lighthearted and colourful which really came across even in this poignant story, a tale of humans and their flaws from the perspective of a young person dealing with grief.

  I personally appreciated the nod to Paris, Texas in the scene as Georgie and Jason are walking on opposite sides of the street.
