A recommendation from a friend, went in blind. I walked out impressed that a horror comedy made me laugh as much as it did knowing how hard it is to pull that genre off. Then after looking up the movie realizing it was not a horror comedy significantly changed my mind about it. Cute concept, pick a genre. Could’ve been a really good horror🫠

Always a must watch during October. My Harry Potter before Harry Potter. If you missed out on this movie and its predecessors as a kid my heart goes out to you. Is it really a 5? No of course not. But my nostalgic heart can’t “professionally critique” this movie. It’s a perfect Disney movie in my eyes.

I Saw the TV Glow 2024
This movie was unfortunately not made for me. I was able to connect to the nostalgia of 90’s and teen tv shows. The gender identity themes is not something I’ve gone through but I appreciate that this film exists to give people an escape. I love the open interpretation this film allows people to have, but I just wasn’t able to capture the deeper meaning. Will forsure watch the directors 1st and upcoming 3rd film!
