  When Venom sang “Space Oddity” I legitimately considered calling the police to report a crime. 

  It’s well established I am a hater of Sony’s Spider-Man Universe of films, especially the Venom movies, but even I was baffled at just how bad Venom: The Last Dance is. Nonsensical plot beats, a checked out Tom Hardy, and a supporting cast of actually talented people who look embarrassed to be in this, it’s worse than the other two movies by far, and that was already a low bar. Insane to say it, but I’d rather watch Kraven, Madame Web, or Morbius again than this.

  Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes 2024

  Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes is extremely cool. Lots of great world building and it’s awesome to see how the influence of Caesar has affected this story decades later. More of an adventure film than an action one, and while not as good as Dawn or War, it’s still a great entry into the most surprisingly solid modern franchise we have.
