Impeccable assemblage of dudes rocking, consistently funny start to finish, and captures the northeast in such a way that you become nostalgic for a town you’re not from. The first baseball movie since the sandlot to truly resonate a love for baseball.

Joe Pesci with one of the most absurd wigs and a completely unidentifiable speech pattern (possibly loose dentures?) plays a homeless man teaching life lessons to Harvard dick Brendan Fraser (giving his all time worst performance). Patrick Dempsey is also there looking like a lost member of the lonely island in dick in a box. Feels like it’s 3 and a half hours long, cried laughing from start to finish
