Super moody and atmospheric, the colors and mood are amazing.
It definitely tries to hit a 90s early 2000s childhood aesthetic and I think it does that well.
Some of the metaphor and symbolism for a gender questioning experience really worked for me, and others to be honest left me confused on how to interpret them, mostly the ending. But I think a little bit of confusion and mixed signals Is an intentional part of the movie.
