    Now that i'm reading the book, i'm looking at this movie with a whole new perspective. It's still pretty nostalgic to me, but i can now definitely see how it could've been better.

    Definitely a delightful improvement from the first movie! Although i still wished there were more scenes of the girls doing their main jobs of, you know, hired assasination. I do enjoy watching the girls' chaotic friendship and the shenanigans they get into, and how an assasination agency has a really flexible and not going to lie, healthy work environment, with coworkers who visit each other when they're sick.

    This time they're going against equal in skills assassins, and this time…

    This movie was a little bit (a lot) catered to my preferences for a high school movie–set in seemingly eternal summer, ocean backdrops, sea animals, the aquarium, loser boys trying their best and succeeding, so it's 100% guaranteed that i had a lot of fun watching it!

    Also, can't help but compare it to Swing Girls. Unlike the girls, i guess the boys had lower stakes and the overall movie felt more light-hearted and unserious, that's not a bad thing…
