  It's definitely not as good as the first. For one thing, it takes place in a city with a ton of people, so the fear isn't really horror-based like it was in the first one, where the main characters were on their own. The Predator itself is less scary too, since we already know what he is, does, and looks like. Also, the first film was pretty unique in terms of the themes it brought to the table. Predator 2 just devolves into another beware-of-greedy-science-dudes movie.
