Wow. I’ll admit I had some preconceived notions about this movie but there’s nothing better than being proved wrong in the best way. Visually stunning, Dune immediately meets the standard of space and otherworldly films. Was it long? Yes. Did it drag on? Somewhat. This movie was incredibly filmed. A mind-bending and devastating (sort of true) tale that toes the line of morality in the most fascinating and guilting way. May December will leave you in a state of questioning and glamorous disappointment as we get an insider look into dark methods of acting. Honorable mention goes to Charles Melton who gave a heartbreaking performance of a man who was swept away from his childhood and was robbed of any and all opportunity of the human experience that so much of us take for granted.
