Oh, man. This film just tugged at the heart strings so hard. A heartwarming, cozy, beautiful story. And now I need a hug.
Caught this film a bit late, after streaming the Oscar’s (also 2 weeks late) and remembered I really wanted to check it out. The cast & directing was truly 10/10. Heartwarming, playful, and grounded little story. Da’Vine Joy Randolph’s oscar win was immensely deserved. And watching the relationship Paul Giametti and Dominic Sessa’s characters developed was just so so endearing that left me a little teary eyed.
Might have been my favorite film this oscar season tbh.
