Having exhausted the entirety of my knowledge regarding this IP in the first 3 minutes, it was an enjoyable experience being taken on a Sci-Fi adventure that I knew nothing about for what felt like the first time in many years.

Don't ever recall seeing aliens with noses above their eyes, that was neat.

The obsession with towels in highschool now makes sense. Still dumb tho, it wasn't that big of a deal.

This movie made me realise that I don't think I've ever seen Alan Rickman run. RIP. 7/10.

Following the standard sports movie formula in just about every way, yet still seeming to be more fantastical than most. Double checked wikipedia to make sure it happened. Still golf innit tho

Extra point or two for a poignant character death, always a sucker for those.

Enjoyed the emotions and it was a cool premise for a movie. While I acknowledge it is over 35 years old and realistically can't be judged too harshly for it I don't really care, I wish the action scenes actually showed me something. Hopefully the sequel will provide.

I enjoyed the relationship dynamics a lot more than I expected to.

    Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers

    ★★

If you enjoyed Who Killed Roger Rabbit or The Happy Time Murders you're probably in for at least a decently good time here.

Good range of animated character cameos, got some good laughs.

The 3d models of any relevant character were absolutely horrific, while the background 2d animated characters looked wonderful. Having Chip look like a student project for the whole film, along with the majority of the other Rescue Rangers cast, was honestly really off-putting.

I enjoyed the villains, had a good time there and respect the fact they didn't follow the obvious route.
