Aftersun 2022
Aftersun really snuck up on me—it’s so quiet and subtle, but by the end, I was completely gutted. The way it captures memory, time, and the things we don’t fully understand about our parents hit home. It made me think a lot about how fleeting life is and how our perspective on the past changes as we get older. It’s been quite some time since I’ve seen a movie that made me reflect on mortality and parenthood in such a subtle yet devastating way.
