A very fun movie. Somewhat slap stick humor. Got better as it went on. Also impressed with SZA as an actress. Would watch again.

I really liked it. The filming, the acting (especially that of Pamela Anderson), and the overall story. While I wish there had been more character growth for Shelly I recognize that there may have been post the final show (which of course we don’t get to see since it’s the final scene). I would highly recommend.

Beautiful film. Captured the difficult experience of migration and the “American dream”. Moved a little too slowly in the beginning for me but caught up to speed by the middle. Poor Rosa…I had a feeling one of the characters would die or be deported but wish it hadn’t happened. Also did not feel like a movie from the 80’s, definitely felt like it was made late 90’s early 2000s.

Black Swan 2010
One of my top five favorite films of all time. The acting, the camera shots, the little details of changing Nina’s clothes from white to gray to black as she evolves into the black swan. Her battles with perfectionism. I notice a new detail every time I watch it. It is phenomenal. “It was perfect”.
