  i already had high expectations for this film, but somehow greta managed to exceed them. what a truly sincere, cathartic, and inspiring journey of navigating the confines of womanhood. while camp, barbie was never kitschy; while painfully funny, the jokes were never corny. if you don’t want to take my word for it, take my boyfriend’s (who I had to drag kicking and screaming into the theater): “that was truly one of the best movie’s i’ve seen all year”

  i’m honestly shocked i just watched this for the first time today
  my initial impressions:
  1. drew berrymore, YES. 
  2. story line was pretty good but i predicted it midway through the movie
  3. acting was pretty amazing on all accounts 
  4. one of the best soundtracks to date
  5. the therapist lowkey looks like my mom and it upset me
