Nearly 3 hours and never once did it feel like it was. Every time I rewatch this movie it makes me feel dreadful and tense, you're always hoping for the best but there's always something that gets in the way. Watching Cooper and Murph is heartbreaking, and visually an amazing movie. I wish I could experience this for the first time again.

For the full experience, you need to watch this at an AMC near midnight at the theatre furthest from the front. Genuinely if you can get into it with the right environment this can be a fun but tense watch, but without it, this movie feels like a drag. It keeps you constantly looking at the corners of the screen because you think you see something there and you're never really sure what it is which helps build suspense as you can never guess when something will happen. Incredibly slow burn movie

The dread and unease that the first 20 minutes makes you feel is crazy. Watching someone tread through a newly destroyed London and encountering the infected was some of my favorite footage of all time. Despite this, the second half of this movie takes a nose dive, not a completely bad one, but one that's hard to dismiss when remembering the strong start the movie had.

The beginning is as hooking as the first installment, but nowhere near the same quality as it. Though the plot is clearer, the characters' actions just make you irritated and sometimes make no sense. Though if you wanted a gory zombie movie this might be worth a watch.
