When your workplace means nothing to you, but demands most of your time for little pay, what space is there for meaning in your life?

Wasted a good enough concept. I liked the cyberpunk London, and the two leads were good with what they were given, but pretty much everything else fell flat.

A good conclusion to the “Self-discovery by travelling insane worlds” trilogy of 2023, along with Beau is Afraid and Barbie.

Crazy and interesting, visually amazing, but has some off-putting/uncomfortable elements to it, I’m still not sure how I feel about them (see my likes under the review if you’re okay with small spoilers). I also think I’m done with McNamara's schtick after The Favourite and 3 seasons of The Great, it’s a bit repetitive.

Nevertheless, I found it quite effective.

Slow, long-winded, and even banal, but in a fascinating way that will have me thinking about it for a while.
