A lot of mixed feelings with this movie. It’s entertaining and fun to watch, but there’s some things about the logic behind it that I can’t keep out of my head.
First of all, I understand it’s Europe and people are liberal, but really in 1983 people were this open about this topic? Why are the parents so cool about an adult having a relationship with their underage son? Elio was 17 and Oliver was at the very least 25.…

Terrific movie that kinda hits a nerve. A lot of people feel like there is us and there is who we want to be. The difference sometimes is huge. This films touches this topic a lot. Nothing to change your life but it’s that kind of movie that leaves you thinking.
