Rocky 1976
Stallone’s Rocky couldn’t be more lovable. His tender character makes it easier to ignore the film’s uglier racial insecurities. And Bill Conti’s soundtrack is legendary for a reason. It’s just so sweet and so energizing, damn damn damn. If you don’t get goosebumps watching Rocky race up those steps to a blaring “Gonna Fly Now,” then I feel sorry for you.
