so it turns out i missed a vital 25mins worth of nora/hae sung development from accidentally falling asleep during first watch and WOW what a difference it makes! i was dry heaving from the bar scene all the way through the credits. can’t wait to rewatch and be obliterated and put back together again!

Every frame, every line of dialogue, and every piece of the score is SEARED into my memory.
Gravity is what got me to love film, appreciate the art of it, and become an Alfonso Cuarón Stan.

This was tricky for me. I’ve been sitting on this for over an hour now and feel very conflicted about this film.
Carey Mulligan is fantastic as Cassie, Emerald Fennell’s directing is great, and the film was gorgeous to look at.
But...it also felt hollow to me?
Hmmm much to think about. I keep going between a 3.5 and a 4 and screaming into a void from not being able to decide between the two.
Also not me being semi let down that they didn’t fully use the Toxic string cover 😩
