Catching Dust 2023
Set in the windy desert planes of Texas. It has a dystopian feel however much it’s set in modern day. A very real and accurate representation of a toxic relationship. Erin Moriaty’s character just wanting to escape but has been controlled for to long to know how too. Jai Courtney’s character, a burly cowboy with what seems like a hidden dark past. All seems ‘normal’ until a couple come into town from New York to rattle the two person commune… but how will it end?
Great film with fantastic cinematography.

Burnt 2015
Over explaining of everything just puts me off. Lead me there, tease me but stop showing me your hand! Names, plans, story lines… none of them were left to the imagination. Just took the magic away from the viewer. However it did get me excited for a London summer and also made me very hungry in the process. Perfect amount of cheese with a happy ending, what’s not to like! Great film for a food blogger.

Midnight in Paris 2011
A loveable writer played by Owen Wilson and an insufferable character played by Rachel McAdams. Set in the city of love ofc! A mix of history, romance and time travel…
