Oh how overlooked and criminally underrated the post renaissance era of Disney was. Shot from a child’s perspective we get the surreal effect of the new and unfamiliar. I feel The 90’s atmosphere and video grain help immerse the viewer while creating a tension between us and the film. I found myself trying to make out what was beyond the illuminated area of the shot while also cowering through my peripherals.
