Such a tranquil and unique film. Beautiful in every sense; visually, thematically, audibly. The use of reflections, recognizing oneself and the friends that have been made along the way. A comfort movie I cannot wait to watch over and over, finding something new to appreciate each time.

Captain America: Brave New World 2025
I’m not sure why Marvel bothered to give us a season long character arc only to have the movie of the same character retread the same thing. And while Marvel films aren’t usually known for their score, in this it felt so incongruent it was almost like a spoof at times. Bland visuals, a forgettable villain, and a greater emphasis on past and future MCU entries than the film they’re actually making combine for a weak entry to the series.
Now excuse me while I go purchase a great new GMC product like the new EV Hummer.

Trap 2024
Why did the first few shots of this look like they were straight out of a Kia ad?
I enjoyed this more than I was expecting following a rocky start. Josh Hartnett was having a great time with this and I’m just happy we’re in his renaissance era. Like many recent Shyamalan movies it’s a lot of peaks and valleys but once you give in and roll with it, you’ll probably at least have some fun.
Patently absurd top to bottom, but I’d be lying if I said this wasn’t a good time.
