an outstanding debut, very beautifully shot and with very good acting overall. shame, guilt, control and all that comes with it. literally, all your have to swallow to get it over with. some scenes may make you hold on to your throat, though.

the one question that this semi-doc movie forces you to ask yourself is 'what do you really need to get by''. do you need a house, a can opener, a chair, a lover or a life parner, or can you just get by with a few things, some pretty volatile relationships and nowhere to settle down? the answer, of course, is that there is no answer. a beautiful, melancholic and almost desperate movie that can make you wonder if you don't want to rebalance some things in your life.
