The Florida Project 2017
Moonee, played by Brooklyn Prince, gives one of the best child actor performances I can remember. She’s perfectly aged to balance ignorance and naiveté with disruptive, questioning chaos. She knows right from wrong and the balanced tight rope of that is perfectly taut. I left this movie thinking it was filmed on Mars, which is a pure indictment on myself. Our country really is something.

We Live in Time 2024
Garfield and Pugh are magnetic in a world full of happenstances that felt like one too many. I want a real, slice of life, that doesn’t rely on the unbelievable but is it fact, rooted in the believability of there love story. Too many times I was taken out of the movie saying “oh yeah, it’s Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh acting in a movie.” Killer trailer, lots of ideas, good movie. If I cry in the trailer, I want to bawl during the movie.
