  Salt Lake City’s Trainspotting. 

  I respect some of the bold choices made throughout. I totally understand why someone would love this. 

  Love Trainspotting, but this didn't resonate as much for me.

  Very cool use of camera movement in this, some great shots. This isn’t a horror movie by any means, but the eerie score is what really stuck with me. 

  Not huge on the plot though.

  For what it’s worth this was consistently entertaining throughout. 

  My biggest gripe is in Bong’s attempt to touch upon so many aspects of contemporary politics and society, it deviates from, in my opinion, the most interesting concept. I wish it touched upon the moral and ethical concerns of essentially cloning another human to a much greater extent.

  I’ve come to really appreciate Michael Mann’s neon city aesthetic. 

  I feel like his movies could easily be Hollywood cash grab pieces of garbage. But his attention to detail and ability to capture the beauty of a city at night truly elevates these stories. 

  Great dialogue, so many iconic characters.
