Truly embarrassing it took James Cameron 13 years to make this movie and all he came up with was a mind-numbingly stupid version the original. This bloated movie dragged on and made me audibly groan multiple times over it's unwelcomed 3hr runtime. Some will say this movie is visually stunning, and it is, but it isn't "beyond anything we've seen before" and even if it was, it wouldn't be enough to hide a movie that otherwise lacks all creativity and originality.

Lost Bayou 2019

Since it's been a while, I can't…

The Godfather 1972
Going into the film, I knew there was no way it was ever going to live up to the hype. It's THE GODFATHER, the movie everyone talks about and swears is the best piece of cinema ever, but I knew I wouldn't agree. However, I was surprised by how close it did come to those standards and proved itself to be a great film in a very different way than I thought it would.
Like a lot of Coppola's work,…
