Whisper of the Heart 1995
while spirited away is the most imaginative and princess kaguya is the most breathtaking THIS is ghiblis most human to the point where i think it has the most genuine heartfelt and real setting to any animated film ive ever seen. a medium so commonly used to showcase ideas that others would struggle portraying, whisper of the heart is a perfectt example of how 2D animation can be used to just portray the normal and smaller things in life!
