  Was my first introduction to found-footage films. Loved how things were shot bc of this style. Although the effects didn’t age well, can’t complain 🤷‍♂️ The young male banter was captured pretty well (intentionally cringey, but nonetheless puts a smile on my face). Pacing could’ve been better, but did what they should’ve w 89 minutes.

  i fell asleep in the beginning — although there were really cool shots and the grading was nice, i just couldn’t pay attention (maybe bc of the theater’s sound system).

  shortly after waking up, the movie became more and more bittersweet and had more “out there” decisions in the script that i enjoyed. i thought it was gonna be a huge bore but it was sweet and enjoyable.

  Paul’s giving me some Eren Jaeger vibes — prolly bc of the “Chosen One” archetype + antihero feeling. Cool world building and seems like a lot of planting confusing seeds that’ll make sense later. Some effects looked a little off but mostly looked gr8.
