  The D&D movie is everything I wanted it to be and more. It’s fun, doesn’t take itself too seriously, and perfectly captures the feeling of playing through a campaign with your friends. The cast does an amazing job, all of the jokes land perfectly, and there are so many references to the source material that I doubt I caught all of them on the first watch. I will absolutely be seeing this movie again and this was, without a doubt, the most fun I’ve had watching a movie in years.

  I forgot how much I love this movie. This is one of my absolute favorite movies of all time. JK Simmons gives one of his all time great performances and the camera work and cinematography is sheer perfection

  There’s a lot to unpack here. Big fan of the cinematography and the boldness required to film in black and white in an almost square aspect ratio. The story is… a lot. I get it. I get that there are a ton of layers here. It’s just… a lot. I think I’ll like it more on a second viewing but going into it blind was an experience. Robert Pattinson and Willem Dafoe are incredible actors though and they absolutely nail these performances.
