  This originally came out in my non-Disney era. So, this is my first watch and… it was delightful. Very much a 3.25 score, but they don’t allow it.

  I don’t know why I waited until I was 45 years old to finally watch this. Jason Robards is Mount Rushmore for character actors. The score is elite. Sergio Leone does more than anyone with the visual vs the spoken. +1000 points for every time this movie made me want to drink the piss water that is Modelo beer. -10,000 every time they made me think boobs were coming in off the top rope.

  I watched this movie more than just about any movie I’ve ever seen. I would estimate, on average, once a year, every year since release (30 times at least). But, after this view, it hit me, it doesn’t hold up. This movie is a 2.5, at best. But out of pure sentimentality, I couldn’t drop it below a 3.
