  It was okay, I think that it dragged on and there was an unnecessary romance plot but just a very mid movie. I came into it expecting to hate it and it was just about how I thought it would be. Anthony Ramos is in it though so it gets an extra half star

  I feel like this movie is the exact definition of 3 stars. It’s good and can be fun to watch at times but it was definitely a long way from perfect. For how important baseball was to the story I feel like we don’t really see Sato play. If this movie was about 30 minutes longer I have full confidence that they could’ve developed the story and made something great but we don’t know what’s going on with the kdf and they come out of nowhere. I was confused and found the story multiple times but Ken being the best player alive makes up for it.
