Jordan Peele cleverly played with a couple of themes: our proclivity to turn trauma into purpose/strength, and how our deep desire for money, attention, truth, and retribution could drive us to do anything, albeit risking our lives to aliens with an insatiable flesh diet.
Personally found some of the early parts a bit dragging, but the picture, soundtrack, humor, and jump scares overall make Nope absolutely cinematic.
