  I was slightly disappointed by this. This sort of political satire has been done countless times, and sadly Bong Joon Ho didn’t really add much to the conversation of our already existing hellscape that is our political system. Robert Pattinson was easily the best part of the whole movie, totally outclassing the rest of the cast (Colette and Ruffalo were lukewarm at best). It’s still not a bad watch, but I can’t say it’s as funny, satisfying, or interesting as his other work.

  My introduction to this was at my college library’s DVD collection. I saw the title and went ‘what the fuck,’ then pulled it out of the shelf only to reveal this fucking monstrosity of a portrait. Months later I decide to watch it and it turns out to be just some dudes doing some obama era shitposting just for the love of the game. Pretty fun but did not need to be an hour long.
