Yeah I’m not entirely sure how to feel about this movie. I loved that Robert Pattinson got to fully showcase such a wide spectrum of acting by playing characters with entirely different personalities.

Mark Ruffalo’s trump-esque character was almost so over the top and cartoonish that it took away from the message of the movie, leaving me pretty confused on the message of the movie.

It was fine and enjoyable but likely wouldn’t watch again.

This was a fine watch. A fast-paced, tense, news thriller. I really enjoyed the aspect/theme that the movie was exploring of having limited information of real-time news due to technology restrictions. Also thought they did well showing the savagery and inhumanity of trying to be the first to get the “scoop” and the impact that the Munich massacre had on news ethics.

Overall, a quick fast-paced watch that will likely be unmemorable next week.

This movie is top-tier and is the epitome of why Star Wars is so cool. There are endless amounts of memorable scenes and incredible quotes packed into one movie:

    - Luke’s training scenes with Yoda
    - Han and Leia’s love/hate relationship
    - “I love you” …. “I know”
    - “Never tell me the odds”
    - “I am your father”

Crazy to think this movie is over 40 years old, but it stands the test of time. And, these characters will go down as probably some of the most important, most memorable, and most influential film characters of all time. Just such an enjoyable and nostalgic watch.

“You have to carry the fire.”

As one of my favorite novels ever, I was always going to be biased reviewing this movie. This movie is just as dark, grim, soul crushing, and depressing as the book. But, there is a powerful message about fatherhood hidden behind the veil of darkness: a father teaching his son to strive not only to survive, but to live nobly, as “one of the good guys”.

The book broke me and this movie broke…
