  Mark Ruffalo may have typecasted himself into eccentric horny rich man. Fun movie, original concept, ugly creatures, maybe 20 minutes too long. Did the parasite house make a cameo?

  Heavy and upsetting, but an important “based on true” story - especially during the current political climate. All around really well done. Well casted and strong acting, lots of interestingly shot scenes (characters walking toward the camera / POV like, wide lonely beach scene, fast camera moves to capture dancing in the house, etc.) I especially enjoyed the music and fashion to emulate Rio in the 70s. 

  There maybe were a few points where they could’ve cut down on scenes drawing out the characters feelings without dialogue, but certainly not a dealbreaker.

  Oh so funny, but dark and sad. Strong performances and beautiful imagery. I think a great dive into male friendship, how you maintain relationships when you goals for life shift, and the battle between finding “purpose” and just enjoying simple pleasures.
