  Lost Highway 1997

  Second watch, wow this film is amazing. Lynch’s ability to make a chaotic movie evoke so many emotions through his use of lighting and sound is remarkable. The plot gives you small threads of understanding, and just when you feel like you can connect two dots, Lynch throws you on your ass. It’s a lot of fun, and there’s few filmmakers who can do it so well.

  Carried by the gore and remarkably creative games, SAW falls flat everywhere else. With the writing and acting being the movie’s lows. Still entertaining, but not a very good movie.
