    Mr Shyamalan has bitten off more than he can chew with this unique but ultimately impossible plot. In theory the story seems plausible and interesting especially considering the genius in charge, but this optimism is quickly met with disappointment.     What a great independent Australian film! The dialogue throughout the movie made the story that much more relatable. The character development got me overly invested in Jackie and Lucy’s unique relationship and their quirkiness and humour throughout kept me entertained. It was a mix of lighthearted subject matter as well as important and poignant issues that had me cheering for a happy ending for all!

    Perfect for a Sat night, Pizza, and a  Friend. Do it.

    Has to be Billy Bob Thornton’s most transformative role. He is almost unrecognisable. The monologue at start of the movie was harrowing and was vital to the character development of Karl Childers to be misunderstood and a product of an unfortunate childhood.
