I liked it, because I'm a Nic Cage fan at the end of the day.
The movie was violent and dark, there were a couple jump scares, and longlegs is genuinely creepy. But it did not feel like a horror movie to me. I felt dread a few times, but not scared.Also, Lee's mother being the accomplice to the murderer who was living in the basement the whole time combined with center framing EVERY SINGLE shot made the whole world feel kind of isolated and small.
