  Once you get past the digitally de-aged Hanks and Wright, you’re left with a perfectly fine, bleak as shit movie. It worked for me, mostly, but also I’m a sucker for Zemeckis and his fixation with integrating tech into his flicks.

  I think this is a pretty perfect Trek movie. You take two agents of chaos, Kirk and Khan, and throw them into a world of rules and protocol.   I did the double feature thing! 
  Wasn’t expecting to absolutely love this the way I did but here I am. Fascinating historical movie that also dives into the true toll of what Oppenheimer did. I love all the stuff before the bomb test, but from that point on, this movie becomes an important piece of art that demands to be seen.
