This was fun! I think expectations going in were fairly high given Bong Joon Ho's catalogue and while it didn't reach the heights I hoped it was still a fun time. Definitely a little lengthy, and meandering at times. There's a couple subplots that start and don't really go anywhere that I think I could have done without, and a couple I could've had more of.

As plenty of other people have already said, it is definitely a little too…

I've come to expect pretty great things from Robert Eggers, and Nosferatu did not disappoint. Absolutely drenched in atmosphere and suspense, with some absolute knockout performances: Lily-Rose Depp was INSANE, as was Willem Dafoe but that feels less shocking to me. Nicholas Hoult was also great as a leading man constantly teetering on the brink of insanity.

The design for Orlok was brilliant and a great unity of the description presented in the book the original Nosferatu lovingly ripped off, and the more modern, monstrous takes on the archetype.

    Big fan!

    AVP: Alien vs. Predator

I mean it definitely does what it says on the box! There's aliens, there's predators, you really cannot ask for much else. Completely one dimensional characters and a plot so thin you can see through it, but dope action set pieces and a badass ending sequence.

Was not expecting the main human character and main predator to become homies, pretty sick. But WHY did they totally make it seem like they were gonna kiss
