The Iron Claw 2023

As a brother, there were moments in this movie that did not even seem intentional that forced a smile out of me. I loved this movie having known nothing about it prior to sitting down in my seat. The script had memorable lines and overall there were memorable scenes and sequences. I am so happy I got to see this and it is definitely one of those movies that can change a person.

One of the best crashes I have seen as well as a story that at times may be difficult to understand but also simple. Executed build up towards everything well. Probably won’t be rewatched soon but glad to have seen it.

The Boy and the Heron 2023

This was my first Studio Ghibli movie and I must say, there was so so much to enjoy from it. The message was something that I felt could be seen as directly presented but also definitely could be dug deeper into to find even more heart. I loved lots of the visuals as well and of course just the ideas presented were executed very well filled with enjoyable characters. I feel like the run time could have been longer but this movie definitely intrigued me to watch more Studio Ghibli movies in the future.
