One of the most incredibly epic movies of my childhood, for which my appreciation only grows after every rewatch.
The music is nothing short of a gift to humanity, as I consider it to be one of the greatest movie scores ever composed. Props to John Powell, 10/10.
The story itself is actually deceptively well-written, touching upon interesting concepts of overcoming intergenerational prejudice, the triumph of peace and fellowship over war and hatred, and the healing of father-son relationships.
