A gorgeous, psychedelic, lyrical, and family friendly look at art creation as therapy.
A precisely rendered journey plateaued by a vibrantly unique world and biological specificity. This film owes much of itself to many others, and yet, it compiles all of these disparate but wonderful elements into an oven and churns out something undoubtedly singular. It’s Ghibli via France, that’s the reality of how it feels and functionally what it is.
