The Electric State 2025
I think what pisses me off the most is the total disregard for what makes the original source material unique. Simon Stålenhag's artworks are incredibly provocative, depicting a blend of dystopian sci-fi elements and real-world environments resulting in very tangible, haunting images full of commentary on technology and consumerism. The graphic novel's somber yet simple narrative leaves many answers open to interpretation.

How can I spend five minutes reading a summary of each character's traits and backstories from the games and still have a better understanding of who they are than both the writers and the actors.
Who signed this off and was happy with it's portrayal of the games. Who thought this would please audiences, not just the gamers but literally anyone.
